• Photos and videos taken during sessions (see Section 5)
• Program/sport enrolment details (e.g. which sport or program a participant is registered in)

• In-person registrations at camps or sessions
• School, OSHC, or club partnerships

• Deliver coaching programs, camps, and events across our full range of sports (including but not limited to AFL, basketball, soccer, cricket, netball, rugby, touch football, tennis, athletics, multi-sport, and other programs offered by Rising Star Sports)

• Ensure participant safety and wellbeing
• Process payments and manage bookings
• Improve our services and offerings

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

5. Photos, Videos & Media Use

Rising Star Sports may take photographs and videos during sessions, camps, and events across any of our sports programs for promotional and operational purposes.

These may be used on:

• The Rising Star Sports website
• Social media platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook)
• Marketing materials and advertisements

Consent: By registering for any Rising Star Sports program, you consent to the use of images and videos featuring participants unless you opt out in writing.

Opt-Out: Parents/guardians may request that their child not appear in media by notifying us via email prior to the session.

6. Disclosure of Information

We may disclose personal information to:

• Coaches and staff for program delivery
• Emergency services if required
• Schools, OSHC providers, or partner clubs where relevant

All third parties are expected to handle information in accordance with privacy obligations.

9. Cancellations & Refunds

Rising Star Sports understands that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• 48+ hours’ notice: Credit provided for future programs
• Less than 48 hours’ notice: No refund or credit, except in circumstances deemed reasonable by Tom.

Weather Cancellations: Sessions cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions will be credited. We will follow the rules of the respective council.

Medical Circumstances: Refunds or credits may be considered upon provision of appropriate medical documentation.

10. Modifications to the Policy

Rising Star Sports may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
